    Este trabajo pretende ser un estudio de Derecho comparado, y por ende, está basado en la comparación de las distintas soluciones que ofrecen, en materia de pérdida de  nacionalidad, tanto el Ordenamiento Jurídico Portugués como el Ordenamiento Jurídico Español. A través de esta metodología, se analiza jurídicamente el Derecho de nacionalidad vigente en España y en Portugal, tomando ideas y planteamientos de éste último para, en su caso, acogerlos en el  primero -y viceversa-, de cara a solucionar los posibles problemas que se plantean.

    This article is intended as a study of comparative law, and therefore, is based on the comparison of different solutions offered, on nationality, both the Portuguese law and the Spanish legal system. Through this methodology, it is analyzed from a legal point of view the nationality law in force in Spain and Portugal, taking ideas and approaches from one system to the other, in order to solve (where appropriate) possible problems they posed.
