    En el capítulo 14 del Libro 5 de Stromata, Clemente presenta una profusión de citas de autores griegos con el objeto de comprobar el plagio griego de la filosofía hebrea. Entre los numerosos escritores citados, el alejandrino transmite una gran cantidad de versos que atribuye al poeta Orfeo. En este trabajo, analizaremos los poemas órficos que utiliza y las interpretaciones que les asigna, a fin de examinar sus diversos usos de los escritos órficos -y de los textos griegos en general-. Intentaremos dilucidar los modos de apropiación y reelaboración de las ideas órficas en un autor cristiano en el que confluyen las preocupaciones específicamente teológicas con intenciones de carácter apologético.

    In chapter 14 of book 5 of the Stromateis, Clement presents profusion of quotations of Greek authors in order to prove Greek plagiarism from Hebrew philosophy. Among several writers quoted, the Alexandrian transmits many verses that he attributes to the poet Orpheus. In this article, we will analyze the orphic poems he utilizes and the interpretations that he assigns to them, in order to examine his diverse uses of orphic writings and of Greek texts in general. We will attempt to elucidate the ways of appropriation and of reworking of orphic ideas in a Christian author in which specifically theological concerns converge with intentions of apologetic character.
