Con el objeto de estudiar epidemiológicamente la agenesia dentaria en dentición permanente, han sido estudiados 2045 pacientes de una población andaluza, de los cuales 1073 era niñas y 972 niños de edades comprendidas entre los 4 y 12 años.
Los resultados obtenidos muestran una frecuencia total del 3,72%, siendo por sexos el 3,63 de las niñas y el 3,81 de los niños, encontrando que el diente más afectado fue el segundo premolar inferior, seguido del incisivo lateral superior, segundo premolar superior e incisivo lateral inferior.
With the purpose of studying the agenesia dental in permanent dentition, 2045 patients have been stuying in one specific atea of Andalucia, 1073 of then were girl and 972 were boys between 4 and 12 years old.
We obtained as result that they showed frequently of 3,72%, been by sexs the 3,63 of the girls and the 3,81 of the boys, founding that the tooth more affected was the second inferior premolar, continuous of the upper lateral incisive, upper second premolar and inferior lateral incisive.
