DRESS-syndrome (Drug Rash with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms) is a severe drug-induced hypersensitivity syndrome characterized by diffuse maculopapular rash, lymphadenopathy, multivisceral involvement, eosinophilia and atypical lymphocytes with a mortality rate of 10-40%. It is described in patients treated with some drugs such as aromatic antiepileptics, sulfonamides, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. We report two cases of DRESS induced by telaprevir, drug approved for treatment of chronic hepatitis C in combination with interferon + ribavirin
