Las autoridades municipales de Bilbao se apoderaron de las fiestas patronales de Deusto, en el marco de las visitas jurisdiccionales que realizaban a la anteiglesia. En este texto analizamos la evolución de dicho proceso entre 1648 y 1846. Las fiestas visibilizaban el clima de conflictividad entre Deusto y Bilbao y condicionaron su organización.

The municipal authorities of Bilbao took control of the festival of the patron saint of Deusto in the framework of visits that they made to assert their jurisdictional power in the Deusto parish. This text analyzes the evolution of this process between 1648 and 1846. The festival gave visibility to the conflictual relationship between Deusto and Bilbao, which conditioned its organization.

Bilbotar agintariak deustuarren patroiaren egunaz jabetuak ziren. Testu honetan prozesu horren nondik norakoak aztertzen ditugu, alegia, bilbotar udal kargudunak, jurisdikzio eskubidea astinduz, Done Peri eguneko ospakizunetan lehenengoz agertu zirenetik 1846a arteko ibilbidea. Deustuaren eta Bilboren arteko talkak herriko jai nagusiak baldintzatu eta itxuraldatu zituen.
