La música como objeto geografico. Estado de la cuestión y perspectivas de tratamiento

    Los vínculos entre música y Geografía vienen investigándose en el mundo anglófono desde hace algunas décadas. En el francófono, aunque con menor tradición, dicha temática comienza a estar bien representada. Con este artículo se pretende abrir nuevas perspectivas que contribuyan al desarrollo del tratamiento geográfico de la música. Para conseguirlo, intentaremos vincular flamenco y Geografía. Con el fin de profundizar en la interdisciplinariedad, tendremos presente la Geografía, la Economía, las Ciencias Urbanísticas y Políticas; así seremos testigos de cómo el arte flamenco puede ser entendido como un recurso territorial.

    For several decades, there have been broad research developments on the links between music and geography in the English speaking world. In the French-speaking world, although developments are more recent, research bringing together music and geography is well developed, too. With this article, a dialogue could open new perspectives. To contribute to the development of the geographical treatment of music, we wished to focus one particular object:

    the flamenco. By leaving these appropriate characteristics, we shall try to make the link with our discipline considering its musical dimension. Then, for advanced on a transdisciplinary ground, which take in count geography, urban planning, economy and political sciences, we shall see how this art can be mobilized as a territorial resource.
