El presente artículo aborda el tema del performance desde tres obras específicas de tres artistas mexicanos. Este escrito pretende reflejar su fuerza expresiva, así como la diversidad de recursos en el arte acción, además de verlo como reflejo de los fenómenos experimentados en las esferas política, social y cultural que le influyen directamente. La idea generadora de este texto es que la pluralidad permite acceder a un mejor entendimiento de la riqueza y complejidad del ser humano en general y del artista en particular. El texto finaliza con una breve reflexión titulada El performance ¿una forma de perversión?

The present article approaches the topic of the performance from three specific works of three mexican artists. This writing tries to refl ect his expressive force, as well as the diversity of resources in the art action, beside it seeing as reflection of the phenomena experienced on the spheres political, social and cultural that him infl uence directly. The idea of this text is that the plurality allows to accede to a better understanding of the wealth and complexity of the being I humanize in general and of the artist especially.
