    La calidad de las aguas es uno de los elementos estudiados cuando se valora la sostenibilidad de las cuencas. El objetivo de este artículo es valorar los diferentes métodos que se utilizan para determinar la calidad del agua con fines de riego. Para el estudio La calidad se definió en base a los criterios de FAO y otros indicadores específicos para el riego. La utilización de criterios e indicadores para evaluar la calidad del agua, permite a productores manejar de forma más eficiente este recurso y tomar medidas preventivas que permitan aumentar los rendimientos agrícolas y la conservación de los suelos.

    The quality of the waters is one of the studied elements when the sostenibilidad of the basins is valued. The objective of this article is to value the different methods that are used to determine the quality of the water with watering ends. For the study The quality was defined based on the approaches of FAO and other specific indicators for the watering. The use of approaches and indicators to evaluate the quality of the water, it allows to producers to manage in a more efficient way this resource and to take preventive measures that allow increasing the agricultural yields and the conservation of the floors.
