Aquest breu article vol apuntar els aspectes històrics i lingüístics més rellevants de la llengua dels tàtars de Crimea. L’objectiu és exposar de manera sumària els punts més calents d’una realitat (socio)lingüística complexa i poc comparable a d’altres casos, així com alertar sobre la possibilitat que el TC descendeixi un grau més en la fatídica llista de llengües amenaçades.

This short article tries to point out the most relevant linguistic and historical aspects surrounding the Crimean Tatar language. The aim is to summarily expose the hottest spots of a complex and rather not comparable (socio)linguistic reality, and to warn about the possibility that the Crimean Tatar could move downward in the fateful list of endangered languages.
