  El turismo de cruceros es el producto turístico internacional que mayor crecimiento ha experimentado en los últimos años. Su éxito reside en la variedad de su oferta y demanda satisfaciendo a todo tipo de clientes. Cuando hablamos de turismo de cruceros, no sólo hacemos referencia a la embarcación y a los puertos-destino sino a una compleja red en la que actúan múltiples factores que directa o indirectamente hacen de este producto turístico uno de los más importantes. El turismo de cruceros en el Mediterráneo ha experimentado un gran crecimiento debido a la proximidad de las principales capitales europeas y a que varios de sus puertos son los más relevantes del mundo, como es el caso de Barcelona y los puertos Baleares.

  Cruise tourism is the fastest growing international tourism product. Its success lies in the variety of supply and demand to meet the expectations of all kinds of customers. When talking about cruise tourism, we make reference not only to the boat itself and destination ports, but also to a complex network where multiple factors, either directly or indirectly, make of this type of tourism one of the most relevant. In the Mediterranean, cruise tourism has experienced a tremendous growth due to the proximity of the main European capitals and to the fact that some of its ports are regarded as the most important ones in the world. Among these, we find the port of Barcelona and the Balearic ports.
