    Este artículo analiza la presencia irlandesa en Madrid a través del Colegio Irlandés de Madrid, fundado en 1629 por Theobald Stapleton. El Colegio de San Patricio estaba situado en la Calle del Humilladero, cerca de la Calle Toledo, actual Calle de los Irlandeses. La institución era al mismo tiempo Colegio, Hospital e Iglesia. Estudiaremos diferentes etapas de su historia hasta la Guerra Civil.

    This article intends to analyze the Irish presence in Madrid through the Irish College of Madrid, founded in 1629 by Fr Theobald Stapleton. The College of St Patrick was lacated in Calle del Humilladero near to calle Toledo, current Calle de los Irlandeses.

    Was at the same time College, Hospital, and Church. We will follow the history of this Institution until the Spanish Civil War.
