Cuerpos arriesgados: El cuerpo como fenómeno cultural de género

    El cuerpo como sujeto material determina género, es un elemento que nos pertenece y como tal es transformable al tiempo que espejo del medio en que nos desenvolvemos, convirtiéndose en construcción simbólica de un tiempo y un lugar; bisagra de encuentro entre nosotros y el mundo. Pero no es sólo eso, nuestro cuerpo siente y sobre todo actúa, convirtiéndose desde ese instante en agente transformador, y por ende fenómeno constituyente y constitutivo de cultura, envuelto en todo momento de una realidad multidimensional en donde la incertidumbre y las interrelaciones van a marcar la necesidad de una continuada redefinición del concepto género, así como de las relaciones cuerpo/medio.

    Our body as a material subject determines the gender, it is an element that belongs to us and it is transformable and at the same time a mirror of the environment that surrounds us, becoming in a symbolic construction of a time and a place; hinge of a encounter between us and the world. But it is not only that, our body feels and mainly acts, turning from that moment in a transforming agent and so a phenomena constituent and constitutive of culture, wrapped all the time by a multidimensional reality in where the uncertainty and the interrelations show the necessity of a redefinition of the concept of gender, just like the relations body/context.
