La relación de María Zambrano con la obra de Max Scheler, que se inicia en sus años de formación, constituye una constante a lo largo de su biografía intelectual. A partir de la consideración del conocimiento que la autora tuvo de la filosofía de Scheler, se presentarán y analizarán algunas coincidencias entre ambos autores en aspectos, centrales en sus planteamientos (concepción del ser humano y de la vida, atención al ámbito del sentir, la lógica del corazón, piedad y simpatía), que así se esclarecen mutuamente.

The relationship of María Zambrano with the work of Max Scheler began in her formative years and remains evident throughout her intellectual work. This study will consider Zambrano’s knowledge of Scheler as a starting point for analyzing the common ground between the two authors on aspects that are central to their philosophical approaches (the conception of the human being and life, the area of feeling, the logic of the heart, pity and sympathy) and which serve to shed light on one another.
