Validación psicométrica del cuestionario "Así nos llevamos en la escuela" para evaluar el hostigamiento escolar (bullying) en primarias

    El objetivo de esta investigación fue elaborar un instrumento para evaluar el hostigamiento escolar (bullying) para una muestra de niños mexicanos. Participaron 839 niños (56% hombres y 44% mujeres) con un rango de edad entre 9 y 13 años (M= 10.8 años). Con base en un estudio previo se construyeron reactivos que incluyen dos criterios del constructo (frecuencia e intención de hacer daño). Se obtuvieron tres escalas: la de espectador, conformada por cuatro dimensiones: físico, social, daño a la propiedad y verbal; la escala de víctima posee cuatro dimensiones: físico, daño a la propiedad, psicológico y tocamientos sexuales, y la escala agresor, integrada por tres dimensiones: físico, daño a la propiedad y psicológico. Se obtuvo un instrumento válido y confiable para evaluar el hostigamiento escolar en niños mexicanos.

    The purpose of this research was to develop an instrument to assess bullying in a sample of Mexican children. The participants were 839 children (56% boys and 44% girls) between ages nine and thirteen (M=10.8 years old). Based on a previous study, two construct criteria were developed (frequency of assault and intent to harm). The instrument consists of three scales. The bystander scale has four dimensions: physical, social, property damage, and verbal. The victim scale has four dimensions: physical, property damage, psychological, and sexual touching. The aggressor scale includes three dimensions: physical, property damage, and psychological. A valid and reliable instrument was obtained to assess bullying among Mexican children.
