Este artículo pretende analizar las difíciles situaciones de poder que se producen en las cortes de Arcadio y Honorio entre distintos personajes de origen germánico, estudiando especialmente el exilio de personalidades importantes de la ciudad de Constantinopla como Aureliano, Saturnino y Juan, debido a la revuelta de tropas romanas integradas por bárbaros y lideradas por los godos Gaïnas y Tribigildo en los últimos años del siglo IV.

This paper analyzes the difficult situations of power produced in the courts of Arcadius and Honorius between different characters of Germanic origin, especially considering the banishment of important personalities from the city of Constantinople as Aurelianus, Saturninus and Jonh, because of the revolt of Roman troops composed of barbarians led by the Goths Gaïnas and Tribigildus in the late fourth century.
