Resumen de Subjektivierung und gesellschaftliche Transformation
The process of transformation is understood as a continuing series of challenges and responses, in which social change often arises from the strains between social practices, institutional structures, societal beliefs and self-descriptions, on the one hand, and the actors' orientations and aspirations, on the other. Explicit and implicit rules and expectations do not necessarily correspond. Focussing on the actors' perspectives and roles in the process of social change will allow for reconstructing the act of subjectivizing. Since actors' responses to the massive problems of the process of transformation are creating new action requirements, the complexity of the actor-institution constellations is increasing over the course of time. Thus the implementation of new rights or new law is regularly being accompanied by unintended social outcomes and therefore demands subjective adaptations that are specified as subjectivizations.
