En este artículo se aborda el uso de ciertos conceptos directores para pensar la especificidad de la política. Puntualmente, explorando las relaciones entre las metáforas de orden y ruptura con la noción de democracia en la obras de Georges Sorel, Joseph Schumpeter y Jacques Ranciére. Al respecto, se problematiza la utilización de esquemas formales estructurados en oposiciones binarias para pensar la especificidad de la política; y se afirma que la relación entre orden y ruptura se vuelve paradójica y contradictoria, ya que la política habita en un terreno indecidible.

This article discusses the use of central concepts to think the specificity of the politics. Punctually, exploring the relationship between the metaphors of order and rupture with the notion of democracy in the works of Georges Sorel, Joseph Schumpeter and Jacques Ranciere. To this respect, we discuss the use of formal schemes structured by binary oppositions to think the specificity of the politics, and states that the relationship between order and rupture becomes paradoxical and contradictory, because the political is in an undecidable area.
