    El símbolo religioso juega un papel fundamental en la hermenéutica de Ricoeur y tiene una gran influencia en los planteamientos de la filosofía de la liberación en América Latina. Para esta corriente de filosofía los mitos y los símbolos son una alternativa a la filosofía racionalista de Europa. El autor analiza el influjo de Ricoeur en Dussel y Scannone, y la importancia de la hermenéutica de los mitos para la filosofía política

    The religious symbol plays a fundamental role in the hermeneutic of Paul Ricoeur and has a great influence in the Philosophy of liberation in Latin America. For this current of philosophy the myths and the symbols are alternative to the rationalised philosophy of Europe. The article analyse the influence of Ricoeur in Dussel and Scannone, and the importance of the Hermeneutic of the myths for the political philosophy.
