En el presente artículo se busca analizar la construcción y difusión de unas determinadas memorias de la Corte de Carlos II a partir de los diferentes agentes que intervinieron, durante su reinado, en el proceso de creación de estas. Así, se analizan diferentes agentes (cortesanos) de la memoria en función de las fuentes: las memorias del marqués de Villars, algunas vidas particulares que influyeron en la construcción de una memoria a partir de su acción política en la Corte y, por último, la labor de los cronistas regios.
