Resumen de Análisis espacio temporal de la precipitación del estado Anzoátegui y sus alrededores

  En el estado Anzoátegui, la variabilidad en los totales de precipitación ha generado cambios en la actividad agrícola de secano, provocando alteraciones en los rendimientos de los principales cultivos de la zona. Con la finalidad de analizar la variación espacio-temporal de la precipitación del estado Anzoátegui, entre los años 1970 al 2000, se utilizaron los registros de precipitación de 64 estaciones del área de influencia del estado. Los datos fueron sometidos a un análisis exploratorio y geoestadístico para el entendimiento básico de la distribución de las series y así generar mapas de la variación espacial de la precipitación en las décadas de 1970 a 1980, 1980 a 1990 y 1990 a 2000. Los resultados indicaron que el estado Anzoátegui presentó precipitaciones anuales que se incrementaron y se concentraron hacia la zona sur del estado, observándose una variación temporal en los totales anuales de precipitación a lo largo de las tres décadas, reflejada en una disminución de la precipitación anual (100 a 350 mm) en más del 60% del área (zona sur-oeste del estado) y un incremento en más del 35% del estado (zona nor-este). Así mismo, se apreciaron cambios en la estacionalidad interanual, en las décadas del 70 y 80 existía una mayor distribución de las lluvias en el período lluvioso (mayo a octubre), mientras que en la década de los 90 las precipitaciones se concentraron más entre los meses de junio a septiembre

  In the state of Anzoategui, variability in the rainfall records has led to changes in the activity of rainfed farming, causing alterations in yields of major crops of the area. To analyze space - temporary variation of rainfall in Anzoategui state, between the years 1970 to 2000, rainfall records of 64 stations of the area of influence of the state were used. Data were subjected to exploratory and geostatistical analysis methods, to understand distribution of the series and make maps of spatial variation of the rainfall in the decades of 1970 - 1980, 1980 - 1990 and 1990 - 2000. Results indicated that state of Anzoátegui had annual rainfall that will increase toward the southern region of the state, a temporal variation was observed in the records of precipitation over the three decades, refl ected in a decreasing of annual rainfall (100 - 350 mm) in more than 60% of the area (south - west of the state) and an increase in more than 35% of the state (north - east). Likewise, changes were observed in the inter-annual seasonal, in the 70s and 80s there was a greater distribution of rainfall in the rainy season (May - October), while that in the decade of 90s, the rainfall is concentrated between the months of June – September
