  • The article offers the author's insights on the inclusion of macroeconomic effects to budget estimates, an approach known as dynamic scoring, for legislative proposals developed by the U.S. Congress, Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT). Topics discussed include conditions for including the macroeconomic effects to budget estimates, the process on how to create the legislative proposal, and the benefits for increasing budget costs.
