Managing Risk and Mitigating Litigation Alternative arbitration centres, risk-tracking and media management were all on the agenda for attendees at The Lawyer's conference for in-house heads of litigation Is London losing its litigation allure? The rise in prominence of arbitration centres in Singapore and Hong Kong and the fresh challenges presented by international business, the increase in disputes, and the challenges faced by in-house litigators were some of the topics covered by The Lawyer's Managing Risk and Mitigating Litigation event in London last week.

More than 100 in-house litigators and heads of risk and compliance gathered at the event, chaired by Nokia head of litigation Richard Vary, to share best practice, the main trends affecting in-house litigation teams, and the use of technology and external counsel through panel sessions, roundtables and presentations.
