The rise in prominence of arbitration centres in Singapore and Hong Kong and the fresh challenges presented by international business, the increase in disputes, and the challenges faced by in-house litigators were some of the topics covered by The Lawyer's Managing Risk and Mitigating Litigation event in London last week.

    More than 100 in-house litigators and heads of risk and compliance gathered at the event, chaired by Nokia head of litigation Richard Vary, to share best practice, the main trends affecting in-house litigation teams, and the use of technology and external counsel through panel sessions, roundtables and presentations.
