Resumen de Las percepciones de docentes sobre la propuesta de formación continua planteada por una Congregación religiosa

El estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar las percepciones de los docentes sobre la propuesta de formación continua docente de una congregación religiosa, desde su intencionalidad, si responde a necesidades tanto nacionales, institucionales como del mismo docente, también, si se aplica lo que aprenden y si fortalece su labor a nivel personal como profesional. Cabe resaltar que se el estudio consideró una congregación religiosa que tiene seis escuelas en cinco regiones del Perú, y se entrevistó a sus docentes durante un evento donde participaban los docentes de las diferentes escuelas. En la investigación se presentan las percepciones de los docentes sobre la labor de la congregación en sus programas de formación continua, desde su importancia en su labor como si lo que se plantea está relacionado con su labor en las aulas. Durante el análisis se hace evidente la fuerza que ha puesto la congregación en la identificación de su personal con los principios religiosos que promueven, siendo esto clave para entender como estos programas de formación pueden ser más intensos en algunos temas y en otros no. Por lo tal, concluimos que los programas de formación continua planteados por una congregación presentan su propia manera de ejecutarlo, sus propios intereses pero incide en la identificación y en la parte espiritual, algo muy diferente por las instituciones denominadas laicas o no religiosas.

The study aimed to analyze the perceptions of teachers on the proposal of continuing teacher education at a religious congregation, from its intentionality and the response to national, institutional, and personal necessities of the teachers, to the proposed application of learning, and the strengthening of teachers’ roles at a personal and professional level. This particular study was considered to be developed at a religious congregation which holds six schools at five regions of Peru. For this, several interviews were applied to teachers during an event where teachers from all the six schools participated. The research presents the perceptions that teachers have about the role of this congregation on its continuing education programs, considering the importance of its endeavor, as well as the relations between the academic discourse and the implementation of it in the classrooms. During the analysis, it becomes evident the emphasis placed by the congregation in identifying their staff with the religious principles it promotes, which is key to understand how these training programs may be more intense to reinforce some areas and not others. In this sense, we conclude that the continuing training programs proposed by a congregation present a very particular way of being implemented according to its own interests, but putting emphasis on the spiritual and moral identification, something very different from the perspective held by secular or non-religious institutions.
