Resumen de Información política e infoentretenimiento en televisión: visiones contrapuestas de un problema complejo

El tratamiento de la información política está experimentando una serie de mutaciones que afectan, tanto a la elaboración del mensaje periodístico, como a su recepción por parte de la audiencia. La confección de piezas informativas televisivas muestra una tendencia que apuesta por cambiar la estrategia utilizada para tratar a la figura política, que pasa a convertirse en un ciudadano más cuya vida privada adquiere relevancia. Si bien es cierto que los investigadores especializados en este campo coinciden en señalar la expansión de esta tendencia en el tratamiento de los temas políticos, existen discrepancias cuando se trata de cuantificar cómo afectan ese tipo de cambios en la recepción del mensaje por parte de los ciudadanos.
En esta comunicación se analizan las diferentes investigaciones que se han llevado a cabo para comprobar y valorar la relación de cambios establecidas a partir de la aparición del infoentretenimiento sobre el tratamiento de los temas políticos en el medio televisivo.

The political information treatment is undergoing into a changing process that affects message production, and also audience reception. The production of tv news tends to show a different view of the political figure in which he/she is treated as an ordinary citizen. The new news talk about the private life of the political figure. It is true that the specialized investigators agreeon considering the expansion of this new tendency, but they disagree on quantifying how these new messages affect the audience perception of it. In this paper we analyze different investigations carried out to determine the consequences of the arrival of infotainment in order to establish the effects that it has caused in the treatment of tv political information pieces of news.
