Italian emigration to Germany has had an essentially temporary character, which has never prevented an Italian community to grow up but with a peculiar and original structure. The Italian migratory experience to Germany has been different from that to the other countries in the world. Nevertheless Italians in Germany have expanded into ethnical enterprises, which confirms their ability, they’ve been strongly influenced by the transitoriness of migration. In fact Italian entepreneurship has easily fitted into the German national production, maintaining some of its characteristics, but at the same time it has not involved a large number of enterprises.
