    El proceso de recodificación literaria —ilustrado en este artículo a partir del uso que Vargas Llosa hace del mito clásico de Teseo y el Minotauro— solo es interpretable en ciertos niveles de formación y, por tanto, de lectura. El filólogo ha de cubrir el espacio existente entre el lector culto y el lector común. Nuestro objetivo es mostrar que la lectura informada favorece la divulgación de la lectura

    The aim of this paper is to analyze the process of the literary re-codification carried out by Vargas Llosa in his rendering of the Theseus and the Minotaur classic myth. In our opinion, this procedure can only be attained if the reader has a certain academic background. The philologist must fill in the space left between the cultivated and the common reader. Our purpose is to prove that informed reading fosters the spreading of reading itself.
