    En las bibliotecas españolas se conservan tres manuscritos tardíos: ms. 244 y ms. 246 de la Biblioteca de Santa Cruz de Valladolid y el manuscrito 7-1-16 de la Biblioteca Colombina de Sevilla, que transmiten un texto abreviado de tres antologías renacentistas: la Polyanthea de Domenico Nani Mirabelli (Savona, 1503), los Illustrium poetarum flores de Octaviano Mirandula (Estrasburgo, 1538) y la Primera Parte de las Sentencias (Lisboa, 1554) de André Rodrigues de Évora. Las selecciones manuscritas dan testimonio de un uso particular y escolar, pues el compilador de los códices de Valladolid es Cristóbal García Guillén de Paz, Catedrático de Artes de la Universidad de Valladolid, y en el manuscrito de Sevilla hay anotaciones escolares.

    In the Spanish libraries there are three late manuscripts: ms. 244 and ms. 246 from Santa Cruz Library of Valladolid and ms. 7-1-16 from the Colombina Library of Sevilla, that transmit an abbreviation of three humanistic anthologies: the Polyanthea of Domenico Nani Mirabelli (Savona, 1503), the Illustrium poetarum flores of Octaviano Mirandula (Estrasburgo, 1538) and the Primera Parte de las Sentencias (Lisboa, 1554) of André Rodrigues of Évora. The manuscript selections are a testimony of a particular and school use, sincethecollector of the manuscripts of Valladolid is Cristóbal García Guillén de Paz, Chair of Arts of University of Valladolid, and in the manuscript of Seville there are school annotations.
