    The objective of this article is to understand the tactics of Brazilian immigrants and their descendants living in Paraguay and moving frequently to Brazil in search of enforcing social rights and benefits. The research problem helps to think the specificity of migration and cross-border movement between Brazil and Paraguay from the understanding of the border as a social and political resource.

    O objetivo do artigo é compreender as táticas dos imigrantes brasileiros e seus descendentes que vivem no Paraguai e se deslocam frequentemente para o território brasileiro em busca da efetivação de direitos e benefícios sociais. A problemática de pesquisa ajuda a pensar a especificidade da migração e circulaçãotransfronteiriças entre  Brasil e  Paraguai, a partir da compreensãoda fronteiracomo um recursosocial e político.
