  • Resumen
    • Many sixth-formers, especially girls, are interested in dream content. After attempting to interpret dreams in ways similar to those used by Freud, Jung and Adler, careful observation and recording of dream content was undertaken. This showed that, in the action sequence of a dream, most dreamers were doing the same sort of things they did in everyday life. But there appeared to be one crucial difference. Most dreamers were doing things they might have done, but had never done when awake and active. This aspect of dreams was surprising. While early 20th century psychologists formulated various theories to interpret dreams, they barely scratched the surface of a fascinating subject. There is therefore plenty of scope for further research.
