    En este trabajo se presentan resultados de la etnografía realizada con un equipo de jóvenes en tres regiones del estado de Chiapas, a saber, Frailesca, Centro y Costa. Está basado en una investigación sobre el impacto de la crisis económica entre las familias más pobres y marginadas de la entidad, centrándose en las mujeres que han adquirido un fuerte rol protagónico en las luchas por la supervivencia organizada de la familia. Si la familia extensa juega un papel de observatorio de las normatividades de género, reconocemos que en estas circunstancias actuales varias de éstas se ponen en cuestión, entre paréntesis, sin que sepamos bien hacia dónde conducen los cambios.

    Pone de relevancia los efectos de la crisis económica entre familias campesinas y pesqueras, pero también en las estrategias diversas que las mujeres desarrollan para hacer frente a la crisis global.

    This article analyzeThis article analyzes the ethnographic results carried out in three regions of the state of Chiapas, in México. It is based on research on the impact of the economic crisis among the poorest and marginalized families, focusing on women who have acquired a strong leading role in the struggles for the survival of the family. We identify that the extended family plays a role as an observatory on gender norms, but also that under these circumstances those roles are being contested, and it is difficult to know where these changes will lead us.
