    • A CROSS-SECTIONAL survey of today's veterinary professionals would be likely to reveal a relative lapse in indepth knowledge on the subject of ovine medicine and husbandry, compared with the equivalent aspects of bovine health and production. While Philip Scott's ‘Sheep Medicine’ is a book principally geared towards the undergraduate, the layout and level of detail contained within it make it a resource applicable to veterinarians throughout the profession.
