Veterinary schools: Cake bake receives national attention

  • CREATIVE students and staff at Nottingham university's Sutton Bonington campus turned their talents to cake baking again this year as the third annual Sutton Bonington Science Cake competition was held on March 12 in aid of Comic Relief.

    Entries were invited in six different categories – veterinary medicine, animals and agriculture, from farm to fork, infection, cakes for animals and Comic Relief – and were evaluated by nine judges, including members from the schools of bioscience and veterinary medicine and representatives from business and the student union. There was also an enthusiastic panel of canine judges for the ‘cakes for animals’ category.....
