RCVS knowledge: Toolkits to support evidence-based practice

  • RCVS Knowledge has published two toolkits, available online, which aim to support practitioners in developing an evidence-based approach to practice.

    The ‘EBVM toolkit’ aims to help practitioners to use the best available evidence to answer clinical questions.

    ‘The EBVM toolkit is a guide to the first three steps of EBVM: asking an answerable question, finding the best evidence to answer it, and critically appraising that evidence,’ said Clare Boulton, head of library and information services at RCVS Knowledge. ‘We've included templates and examples from “real-life” veterinary cases, so that it's applicable to daily practice.’...
