  • A PHOTOGRAPH of a specimen stored in the Royal Veterinary College's (RVC's) Lanyon Anatomy Museum has been chosen as the overall winner of this year's Wellcome Image Awards.

    The photograph of the preserved uterus of a pony, approximately five months into pregnancy, with the fetus still attached (right), was taken by Michael Frank as part of a project to bring new perspectives to a selection of specimens held by the museum.
