• VIRBAC and Royal Canin are supporting a student-led project that is providing basic veterinary care to dogs belonging to homeless people in Glasgow.

  The ‘Trusty Paws’ project was set up last year by Ruby Shorrock, a fourth-year veterinary student at Glasgow university, together with a group of fellow students. Working with organisations that help homeless people, the students run monthly clinics during which they provide free vaccinations and flea and worm treatments to the dogs belonging to homeless individuals. They will also microchip the dogs and give out bedding, food and clothing for both dogs and their owners....
