  Reconstrucción de la trayectoria de una familia de mercaderes genoveses, que se asentó en Toledo a fines del siglo XVI, y luego pasó a residir a Madrid, llegando a formar parte del regimiento de ambas ciudades. Se da cuenta de su inicial dedicación al comercio de exportación de lanas, y su posterior conversión en grandes señores de ganados trashumantes, que tuvieron una activa participación en el aparato institucional de la Mesta.

  Reconstruction of the careers of the main members of a family of Genoese merchants, that became citizens of Toledo at the end of the sixteenth century, and later proceeded to reside in Madrid, and became aldermen (regidores) in both town councils. The author pays attention to their initial activity as wool exporters, and to their later conversion in owners of big transhumant sheep flocks, that exercised notorious influence within the institution of the Mesta.
