    La relación entre turismo y deporte es estrecha, a tenor del significado genuino de deportare: salir fuera de las puertas de la ciudad para solazarse. El vínculo crece al considerar las actividades de aventura. Las ciencias explican buena parte de la implantación y desarrollo de las actividades en la naturaleza. No obstante, al seguir estas la estructura de mitos y cuentos y llevar inherentes las componentes románticas de aventura y riesgo, la literatura proporciona un medio holístico para su mejor comprensión.

    Los publicistas y empresarios han incorporado ingredientes literarios que al estar también presentes en los media inscriben las actividades que promueven en el espíritu del tiempo.

    Los enclaves que enmarcan estas aventuras físicas, con su marco impresionante y su patrimonio cultural, ofrecen al visitante una experiencia inolvidable dotada de un enorme valor social.
