Maderas mudéjares en el Museo Arqueológico Nacional procedentes del palacio-fortaleza de Curiel de los Ajos (Valladolid)

  • We report the study about seven dadoes from the Castle of Curiel de los Ajos (Valladolid) built in mudejarstyle that comes from the Burgos gothic-mudejar school due to its special stylistic and iconographic features, showing a great decorative richness. We can find three groups into these seven dadoes because different masters are expected to have participate on them. The rest of Curiel castle ceiling can be found dispersed among the Alcázar de Segovia, the Santiago Estepona Collection (Barcelona), and the United States.
