Resumen
Increasingly, information technologies occupy new areas of knowledge and the pathological diagnosis in buildings could not be the exception, in this work are given to construction professionals, specifically those specializing in this subject an Expert System (SE) using fuzzy methods to diagnose and evaluate technical conditions that occur in natural stone materials used in construction, primarily in heritage and historical buildings. The system evaluates several quantitative and qualitative variables to consider in technical evaluations by specialists as the risk to the failure of the affected structural elements Structural Importance of these inside the building, its geometric characteristics and tensional behavior in relation to the magnitude of injury.
