  • Resumen
    • The author responds to an essay in the journal written by author Gideon Rose concerning the foreign policy of U.S. president Barack Obama. He argues that it is wrong for Obama supporters to affix blame to former U.S. president George W. Bush for presenting Obama with a set of unique foreign policy problems, examines the negative responses of foreign leaders to Obama's policies, and criticizes Obama for his contentious relationship with Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The article also criticizes Obama for his incompetence in dealing with the Islamic militant group Islamic State (ISIS), his response to Russia's seizure of Crimea, and Obama's attempts to redefine the role of the U.S. in foreign affairs
