  • The Museo Arqueológico Nacional takes part, since 1989, in severa1 european projects, as it is the RAMA (Remote Access to the Museums Archives), that places it among the more advanced Spanish Museums in computerization systems.

    The first aim of this project is to develop a useful multimedia application that will connect the Museums' databases and will permit them to exchange information through a broadband network linkage.

    This will approach the museums and therefore the cultural european heritage and it will allow, simultaneously, the specialists and institutions to save time and money due to an easier and quicker access to the information on the museums' collections.
