Resumen de PCV-2 vaccine licensed for pregnant and lactating sows
Ingelvac Circoflex, Boehringer Ingelheim's vaccine to protect pigs against porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV-2)-associated diseases, has been approved by the European Medicines Agency for use in pregnant and lactating sows. The company says that it is the first PCV-2 vaccine to be licensed in the EU for both sows and piglets. The vaccine is used to reduce mortality, clinical signs and lesions associated with PCV-2 infection.
