Charities: BVA supports veterinary charities

  • THE BVA has made donations to support the work of two veterinary charities – the Veterinary Benevolent Fund (VBF) and the Animal Welfare Foundation (AWF).

    A donation of £23,000 to the VBF will go towards updating the charity's working name to Vetlife and to the creation of a new website and training sessions for those involved in running the Vet Helpline services. The BVA says that the free and confidential service provided by the VBF to the veterinary community, through the helpline and its health and financial support programmes, ‘is as important now as it ever has been’....
