Resumen de Bovine TB: Halfway point reached in this year's badger vaccination programme in Wales

• FOUR of this year's seven planned cycles of badger vaccination in the intensive action area (IAA) in west Wales have been completed, the Welsh Government announced on August 26. The work to vaccinate badgers against bovine TB is expected to continue until the end of October this year.

  The five-year badger vaccination project is taking place in parts of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion and aims to develop a degree of immunity to bovine TB within the badger population. It …
