    José Oubrerie trabajó como colaborador en la rue de Sèvres entre finales de 1957 y 1965, y nos ha querido brindar la oportunidad de conocer desde dentro su experiencia en el atelier bajo la tutela de Le Corbusier, así como los acontecimientos posteriores que ilustran su concepción de la arquitectura. Siendo las condiciones de su trabajo tan especiales, es oportuno dibujar un retrato de su dilatada carrera en un formato mucho más directo y ágil, no obstante envuelto en el rigor inevitable del ámbito académico en que se inscribe. Exigente, incisivo, incansable y agradecido, José nos deja momentos y pensamientos realmente valiosos, felices e, incluso, amargos. La lección fundamental: la obligación del arquitecto de asumir su responsabilidad con la sociedad, de experimentar y de trabajar para que, una vez más, triunfe la poesía.

    José Oubrerie worked with Le Corbusier in the Rue de Sèvres between the end of 1957 and 1965. He has given us the opportunity to get to know the inside of the studio with Le Corbusier, based on his own personal experience as well as the subsequent events that define his concept of what is architecture. Given that his work conditions are so special, it is convenient to draw a portrait of his long career in a direct and flexible manner, without parting from the academic rigour which surrounded it. Demanding, incisive, tireless, and thankful, Joseph leaves us with moments and thoughts that are truly valuable, merry, and sometimes bitter. The fundamental lesson we should learn is that it is the duty of the architect to assume his responsibility to society; to experiment and to work so that in the end poetry is victorious.
