  Los resultados de las dataciones de radiocarbono convencional y AMS realizadas sobre fragmentos de carbón y restos óseos del yacimiento de Santa Catalina, han proporcionado una secuencia temporal que abarca desde el décimo tercero hasta el décimo milenio BP. Estas fechas se sitúan en el ámbito cronológico propio del final del Tardiglaciar y comienzos del Holoceno en la cornisa cantábrica. Coinciden con los valores obtenidos en yacimientos del entorno geográfico próximo en los que se han excavado y datado niveles atribuidos a los complejos tecnoculturales del Magdaleniense superior-final y del Aziliense.

  Santa Catalinako ikatz zatiekin eta hezurkiekin egindako ohiko radiokarbonoaren eta AMSren bidezko datazioen emaitzek honako hau eman dute: BPko hamairugarren milurtekotik hamargarrenerarteko denbora-segida. Data horiek Tardiglaziarraren amaierakoari Kantauri Itsasoko ertzean dagozkie. Inguruko aztarnategietan lortutako Goi Madeleine eta Aziliar aldietako emaitzekin berdin antzekoak dira.

  The results of the conventional radiocarbon dating and AMS made on coal fragments and bone remains from the Santa Catalina site, have provided a time sequence that covers from the thirteenth until the tenth BP millennium. These dates are placed in the chronological range belonging to the end of the Lateglacier and beginning of the Holocene in the Cantabrian coast. They coincide with the values obtained in the sites located in the close geographic surrounding in which some levels attributed to the technocultural complexes of the Upper Magdalenian and Azilian have been dug and dated.
