  • The article focuses on the need for the vacant positions of financial regulators in the U.S. to be filled soon to protect the financial markets in the nation. It is noted that it will be a waste of time and resources to implement new policies that will be immediately disgraced if the government is replaced. It is mentioned that 15 positions across the nation's financial regulators that are influential on the decisions of financial institutions are waiting to be filled
