    El Movimiento Surrealista siempre se ha caracterizado por tener una rica teoría artística y unas representaciones eminentemente visuales; pero poco o nada se ha dejado ver sobre la preocupación de los surrealistas por la ciudad y los elementos urbanos que les rodeaban. Sin embargo, las salidas que realizaron los surrealistas junto con los situacionistas para experimentar la Deriva, nos llevan a hablar de una teoría propia en la creación de un pensamiento arquitectónico y urbano que se llevará a cabo durante la Posmodernidad.

    The Surrealist Movement has always been known for having a rich theory of the arts, and also for its visual representations; but little or nothing has been spread about the surrealist concern to the city and the urban enviroment that surrounded them. However, the journeys where they went out along with the situationists for experimenting what they called “Drift”, take us to talk about a theory in creation of a brand new architectural and urban thinking which will be carrying out during the Posmodernity.
