Una de las principales consecuencias de la reforma en materia de derechos humanos y de juicio de amparo, a la Constitución Política de nuestro país, en el 2011, fue la inclusión del término interés legítimo, constituyéndose en un nuevo paradigma jurídico dentro de sistema normativo, de tal forma que el campo de protección del juicio de amparo fue ampliado.
Encontrando en primer término, la dificultad de definir al interés legítimo por parte de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación.
