Resumen de Informe sobre Conferencia Internacional «The future of Contract law in Latin America»

Dentro del contexto de la celebración de los 20 años del Instituto de Derecho Europeo y Comparado de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Oxford, el 25 de junio pasado en Keble College, Oxford, tuvo lugar la Conferencia Internacional denominada «The Future of Contract Law in Latin America». El encuentro estuvo organizado por el Profesor Stefan Vogenauer y el Dr. Rodrigo Momberg, y tuvo por objeto la presentación y discusión de los Principios Latinoamericanos de Derecho de los Contratos (PLDC). Este reporte no pretende detallar cada una de las ponencias e intervenciones de la Conferencia, sino sólo intenta dar cuenta de los distintos puntos que se abordaron y los aspectos esenciales de las cuestiones que allí se discutieron.

Within the context of the twentieth anniversary of The Oxford Institute of European and Comparative Law, on 25th of June last, Keble College, Oxford, took place the International Conference on ‘The Future of Contract Law in Latin America’. Professor Stefan Vogenauer and Dr.Rodrigo Momberg were in charge of organizing the event. It focused on the introducing and the discussion of the draft of the Principles of Latin America Contract Law (PLCL). This report does not intended to detail each of the presentations and speeches of the Conference, but only tries to account for the various points that were addressed and the essential aspects of the issues discussed there.
